Figures from the Amivedi Foundation show that most reports of missing pets concern cats. Fortunately, if your cat is wearing our cat tracker, this is a thing of the past. Simply log in and you’ll immediately see its location on your smartphone.
The Pet Spotter uses GPS to determine the location, which is sent to our online software via the internal SIM card (GPRS) in the GPS tracker. You then log in online to view the location details.
Attach the cat GPS to your cat’s collar and put it on your cat. You can then view its location and other details online or via the smartphone app. Your cat’s location is shown on a map, and you can even zoom in for a detailed view.
The Spotter cat GPS tracker works throughout Europe, which isn’t the case with all GPS trackers. So even if you’re going on holiday, you can still use the Pet Spotter here. We recommend using the Pet Spotter outdoors. Indoors, the signal may be weaker, which can affect the accuracy of the location tracking.
That’s right, the Pet Spotter for cats is subscription-free. You can choose from prepaid credit packages of 3, 6, 12 or 24 months. You can use the Spotter cat tracker as much as you like during this period, after which it stops working. This means you can put the Pet Spotter away for a while and then use it again by topping up your credit. No use means no charges.
The Spotter cat GPS tracker costs a one-off fee of €69.95 and operates on a prepaid basis. Three months’ use costs €7.00 per month, six months €6.50 per month, 12 months €5.00 per month and 24 months’ use €4.50 per month.
On the Spotter cat tracker, you can set up different zones. These are virtual circles around a specific area, such as your home address, the woods or another location. You create a zone, and as soon as your cat enters or leaves it, you’ll receive a notification.
The Spotter cat GPS is equipped with a handy call function. This allows you, as the cat’s owner, to call the Spotter if, for example, your cat is missing and the person who found it has pressed the SOS button on the Spotter. It is possible to call the Spotter, but not to make calls from the Spotter itself.
You can download the Spotter app for free from the App Store for iOS and the Google Play Store for Android. Once you’ve received the Pet Spotter, add it to the app and you’re ready to start using the cat GPS tracker.
The locations are stored for 7 days and can be viewed via the online software and app.
The Pet Spotter’s standby time is 1-3 days. This depends entirely on usage. For example, if your cat is out and about all day, more locations will be sent and the battery will last for 1 day. If your cat is a little less active, the battery will last longer. We recommend charging the Pet Spotter every evening.
The warranty period is 24 months. Should you experience any issues with the cat tracker, our support team will first attempt to resolve the problem remotely. If this proves impossible, you can return the Spotter and, if necessary, you will receive a replacement.
