Step 1. Turn off the Spotter 

Log in to your Spotter account and go to the map. Click on the Spotter and a screen with functions will appear. Here, click on ‘Turn off Spotter’.

Step 2. Fully charge the Pet Spotter 

Use the supplied USB cable for charging. The Pet Spotter has a magnetic charger, which clicks into place on the Pet Spotter. When the charger is properly connected, the LED ring will light up and flash. As soon as the Pet Spotter is 5% charged, it will switch on automatically and emit a sound.

Step 3. Switch on the Spotter

The Pet Spotter switches on automatically whilst charging. If this does not happen, switch on the Pet Spotter by holding down the SOS button until the LED ring lights up and a sound is heard. Now take the Pet Spotter outside to ensure the best possible signal range.

Step 4. Retrieve the location

Request the location manually. Log in to your Spotter account, go to the map, click on the Spotter and a screen with functions will open. Here, click on ‘request location’. For 3 minutes, you will receive the current location of the Pet Spotter every 20 seconds.

Step 5. The location is received

Refresh the page. The location will now be received. If you are not receiving a location and have followed all the steps, please contact our customer service via the contact form.
