This assistant is an automated system powered by artificial intelligence. It is not a human. If you want to be certain about an answer, please contact our customer service team via spottergps.com/ask-our-customer-service/.

1. What does our AI assistant do?

Our chatbot is designed to help you quickly with questions about our GPS trackers and watches. It can assist you with:

  • Questions about products, specifications, and compatibility
  • Explanations of how GPS tracking and our app work
  • Information about subscriptions, ordering, and delivery
  • Directing you to the appropriate page or team member

The chatbot provides general guidance and information, not binding advice. Use its answers as a starting point and verify important matters through our Frequently Asked Questions (spottergps.com/faq/) or with a member of our team.

2. No official or professional advice

The AI assistant does not provide official advice regarding:

  • The use of trackers for children, elderly people, pets, or other vulnerable individuals
  • The legal or insurance-related interpretation of location data
  • Privacy and security matters in specific personal situations
  • Medical or safety-related applications

3. Accuracy of answers

We strive to provide accurate and useful answers, but AI systems are not infallible. Responses may be outdated, incomplete, or, in rare cases, incorrect.

Always verify critical information, such as safety instructions, technical specifications, or legal matters, through our FAQ, customer service team, or an appropriately qualified professional.

4. Limitation of liability

Spotter shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from the use of, or reliance on, information provided by the AI assistant. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Incorrect or unsafe use of a GPS tracker based on chatbot information
  • Misinterpretation of location data or technical specifications
  • Technical malfunctions or interruptions of the chat service
  • Decisions made based on AI-generated responses

Use of the chatbot is entirely at your own risk. This limitation applies to the fullest extent permitted under applicable Dutch and European law.

5. Privacy and your data

By using the chatbot, you acknowledge and understand the following:

  • Chat conversations may be stored and processed to improve our services
  • Do not enter sensitive personal information, such as precise locations, financial information, passwords, or medical data
  • The chatbot is not intended for sharing or storing location data of third parties

6. Handover to a human agent during business hours

During our business hours (Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:30), a Spotter employee may take over the conversation from the AI assistant. This may happen when:

  • Your question falls outside the chatbot’s area of knowledge
  • The AI assistant refers you for personal assistance
  • A team member decides to intervene to provide better service

What happens when a conversation is handed over?

When a team member takes over the conversation, you will be informed within the chat. From that moment on, you will be communicating with a human rather than an AI system. The conversation history up to that point will be visible to the employee, so you will not need to repeat your question.

Outside business hours, all conversations are handled independently by the AI assistant. No employee will be available to take over. In such cases, you may leave a message via our customer service channel, and we will contact you on the next business day.
